Wenn Ihr Kind erkrankt ist und Sie es zu Hause betreuen müssen, können Sie eine Arbeitsunfähigkeitsbescheinigung (AU) für die sogenannte „Kindkrank“-Zeit erhalten. Diese Bescheinigung wird durch die Kinderärztin oder den Kinderarzt ausgestellt, bei dem Ihr Kind in Behandlung ist.
In vielen Fällen ist das auch telefonisch möglich – vorausgesetzt, Ihr Kind ist dort bereits bekannt und eine persönliche Vorstellung ist medizinisch nicht zwingend nötig.
Bitte haben Sie Verständnis: Unsere Hausarztpraxis darf keine AU zur Betreuung eines erkrankten Kindes ausstellen. Wenden Sie sich in diesem Fall bitte direkt an die behandelnde Kinderarztpraxis.

If your child is ill and you need to care for them at home, you may receive a certificate of incapacity for work (AU) for the period known in German as “Kindkrank”. The certificate is issued by the pediatrician treating your child.
In many cases, this can also be done by telephone, if your child is already known to the practice and an in-person visit is not medically necessary.
